Co-operation of BfS with BDBOS
In 2008 the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) concluded an agreement with the Federal Agency for Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organisations (BDBOS), which ended in November 2017.
It was the aim of this agreement to pay adequate attention to basic requirements of radiation protection and to information and risk communication when setting up the new digital voice and data communication system for security authorities.
The implementation of research projects was the main focus of the agreement. Further elements were exchange of information and experiences regarding radiation protection as well as information of the public and the users of the terminal equipment.
