UV Index worldwide
Typical UV Index values for a range of cities worldwide are specified for the 21st of each month based on model calculations using a radiation transfer program. Consequently, the specified UV Index values provide guidance on the typical atmospheric conditions at each respective location. However, unforeseeable variations in basic influence parameters (e.g. local temporary variations in the ozone layer) may occur which might potentially also involve increased UV Index values at the locations concerned.
