Emission and Immission Monitoring Reports
To protect the population and to be able to demonstrate adherence to the legal limit values, the Morsleben Repository is continually monitored. The procedures for this are legally established in the Guidelines on Emission and Immission Monitoring for Nuclear Plant (REI). Within the framework of Immission Monitoring, the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) is monitored as an independent measuring point by the Saxony-Anhalt Ministry for Environmental Protection (LAU). All measurement results are published in reports. The current report can be downloaded below.
To December 2011, the BfS submitted a summary of its comprehensive monitoring measures of the Morsleben final repository in the form of reports entitled "Morsleben Final Repository for Radioactive Waste (ERAM).
