“Music and Waste“ – Musicians from musikFabrik NRW play Stockhausen at the Konrad mine
Last Saturday, the 29th May, an unusual scene unfolded at the Konrad mine. A small stage could be seen on the site, seating was set up and musicians rehearsed for a last time. This was the third year that the Braunschweig state theatre had organised the FESTLICHENTAGENEUERMUSIK, which literally translates to “festive days of new music”; this year under the title “Music and Waste”.
Three pieces from the German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen taken from his last, unfinished cycle of compositions entitled “Klang” (“Sound”) formed the end of the concert series.
Around 50 patrons listened to the compositions “Paradies” (Paradise), “Glanz” (Shine) and “Nebadon”.
